I see AW spreading over all the alliances. I think this should not.

Many alliances are phantom alliances. What if you fall against a phantom alliance : boring. No opponent. Meaning 2 alliances desapointed

A lot say that AW is for top alliance. In a way i think it is. This is for alliances that play a lot and want more in the game.

After all some features in this game appear progressively already. This should be the same for AW.

As a kind a tournament (ranking is still missing) AW should be reserved for motivated alliances with sufficient player in it. It was first imagined for them, no ? It would also minimise the debate with less involved players who think AW makes E&P no more a game and give incentive to the players that want to progress in the game

Where should be the limit ? Well somewhere linked to the ranking. Top1000? That I don’t know

The feature certainly needs to be extended a lot further than top 1000; not certain there should be a cutoff either.

I agree there’s a problem with “phantom” alliances that needs to be addressed; a lot of suggestions have been posted but as of yet there hasn’t been much change to it and it affects a whole lot of things besides just AW.

To be somewhat ruthless and cynical: if they do push it to literally all alliances, you’re right it might well suck; however, on the flipside, we see people in AR and on the forums be all like “I want an active alliance that actually hits titans” already, and more encouragement to find an active alliance might help cut down on the number of idle alliances.

Admittedly they need to have an exclusion flag where everyone is idle and nobody sets a defense; incidentally that feeds into the idea of doing matching after prep that has been suggested, which the more I think about it, the more I like.
