I ensure my heroes are ready to fire their specials when moving on to the Boss level in Morlovia. When I fire off Alfrike’s special during my initial attacks, I notice none of the opposing monsters are infected with mindless attack. Also consider my team not having any buffs or debuffs active. Just really strange behavior
