I don’t believe this is a Bug as the “realm Bonus” is essentially a “cast” ability which is automatically cast when the trigger conditions are met. It’s not a “continuous” applied effect. This explains what is seen if kingston was dead when the “trigger condition” was met. Additionally/ Alternatively, when a hero “dies” they lose all stats effects (buffs, debuffs, ailments etc…) which would explain him not having the effect anymore if he got it originally.

Seems like the game is not programmed to trigger the effect at the start.

But it doesn’t look like we have an answer on whether this is intended or not.
