Do you plan to compile any data that others post @jinbatsu? If so, I’ll post mine in the future for the dataset.

I’ve done 2 combines so far, and just gotten 3* mats which I’ve been happy for.

Here’s my choices for shard combines (don’t recall the items in each slot, but chose 4* mat when it was available) for version 2 of AL as of today (28Aug2020):

26Jun2020: Cleric emblems;
29Jun2020: Wizard emblems and fighter emblems (2000 shards combined);
30Jun2020: Rogue emblems;
06Jul2020: Wizard, Druid, Cleric emblems (3000 shards combined);
13Jul2020: D-blade, Cleric and Paladin emblems (3000 shards combined);
20Jul2020: Barb, Fighter, Druid, Paladin emblems (4000 shards combined);
27Jul2020: Paladin, Wizard, and Monk emblems (3000 shards combined);
03Aug2020: Wizard and Fighter emblems, Tome (3000 shards combined);
10Aug2020: Barb (x20) and Ranger emblems (3000 shards combined);
11Aug2020: Wizard emblems (1000 shards combined);
17Aug2020: Barb, Wizard, and Druid emblems (3000 shards combined);
24Aug2020: Cleric emblems (x20) and Poison darts (3000 shards combined).

4* mat drop rate for me is ~10%.

What are you running @DrB to get so many shards in such a short time?

I’m early on the curve (just building AL 2), so I assume it’s several higher level recipes at the same time. Looking forward to being able to get so many shards so fast.

Recipes 1B, 10A, and 10B. Using gems to boost shards too, so 3304 shards per week. Given the number of 4* mats I have already seen from the shard combine, the gem boost is worth it for me.

Only just done one so far using 1B, just reached 5 a few days ago and running 4B simultaneously now so it should run a bit faster.

23 days,… after upgrading to AL5, so now I can use 2x transmute, I decide to use AL1A (because of large bones and leather stripe for minor mana). And AL3A for backpacks.

Update on my shard exchanges (as of 18Sep2020):

31Aug2020: Cleric, Sorcerer, and Ranger emblems (3000 shards combined);
07Sep2020: Cleric, Wizard, Barb, and Ranger emblems (4000 shards combined);
14Sep2020: Barb (x20) and Scope (3000 shards combined).

So far, I am seeing a 4* ascension mat in Slot 1 about every 10 shard exchanges… For my shard farming, this amounts to about once every 3 weeks.

I’m now running both 1A and 3A with an AL5, so hopefully my time between will drop. I’d only done maybe 3 combines prior with running only 1B, so about 20ish days. I expect this will be much shorter now.

Time freeze was tempting. I don’t have the HL for those, and they are really useful. More ‘nice to have’ though, as I don’t NEED them anymore to complete content really.

9 days, late post,… currently I stop AL for a while now,… will continue upgrading to lvl10, so that I can triple transmute,… and now I stock my irons in HA6 (important resource just like TC20 for food).

I somehow managed to misclick and accidentally mishit research on 5a (which I’ll never use)… didn’t care too much on the delay in AL, but ouch on the hit in ham. Still can’t believe there’s no cancel/refund button for an expensive mistake like that!
