:thought_balloon: What do you think of Agrafena ?

This thread is for thoughts and discussion on Agrafena.

Based on preferences Forum members have expressed, please try to stick mainly to Agrafena and not wander off topic too much to other heroes.

Some Popular Questions for Discussion

  • Is Agrafena worth summoning for?

  • Would you use Agrafena on Defense? Offense? War? Quests/Events? Titans?

  • Which heroes on your Roster best pair with Agrafena ?

  • What heroes would you take when facing Agrafena as an opponent?

  • Would you give Agrafena Druid Emblems? Which Talent Grid path will you choose?

  • What do you think of special?

  • What do you think of Agrafena’s character design?

  • If you Summoned Agrafena and would like to post your results, please include some thoughts on why you Summoned Agrafena, and whether/how you plan to make use of them.*

*NOTE: Summon Results posted without any commentary/feedback at all should be flagged as Off Topic and removed, based on preferences expressed by the Forum community. Please include some comments about what you think of Agrafena when posting Summon Results. In addition to opinions about Agrafena, you are also encouraged to include how many Summons it took before receiving Agrafena (or how many Summons you’ve done without receiving Agrafena), so other players are presented with realistic experiences of the rarity of Legendary Event Hero.

:money_with_wings: Avoiding Overspending & Heartache :broken_heart:
Or: How many summons are needed to get a Legendary Challenge Event Hero?

It’s important to remember that Challenge Event Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Challenge Event Hero.

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 1.65% chance of summoning Agrafena.

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

  • 15 times out of 100, you’ll get Agrafena by pull 100 (26,000 gems)
  • 56 times out of 100, you’ll get Agrafena by pull 500 (130,000 gems)
  • 95 times out of 100, you’ll get Agrafena by pull 1,796 (467,200 gems)
  • 99 times out of 100, you’ll get Agrafena by pull 2,761 (717,900 gems)

Putting that in Perspective

  • 85 out of every 100 people won’t get Agrafena by the 100th pull

  • If 1 Million players each spent $259.97 (US) to summon :one::zero::zero: times, 846,364 of those players wouldn’t get Agrafena

  • 5 out of every 100 people won’t get Agrafena by the 1800th pull

  • If 1 Million players each spent $4,671.53 US to summon :one::eight::zero::zero: times, 49,663 of those players wouldn’t get Agrafena

More Insights & Reading

I highly recommend reading these three threads for more information and context on summoning odds:

If you’ve read them a million times before, you may consider reading them again before deciding on your budget for summoning. A little time spent deciding on how much money you want to risk on summoning goes a long way to avoiding disappointment, frustration, and regret later.

Got her! Her healing got buffed before release by nearly 200 points?

Either way, I wont complain, I finally got a dark 5* healer!

Now only red Nadezda to go, and I will be satiated

Yes, she is received a buff. The poison damage is increased too with 53.
Actually the per turn damage or healing is not changed just the duration is increased with 1 turn.
I have updated the OP.

her poison got buffed but her attack and defense down got nerfed

But that nerf is was known in Beta, while these recent buffs was never tested in Beta.

Got her! Quite satisfied! Gonna be my next healer soon as I have the food to level her up!

Not sure how I feel about her, her 1st charge isn’t that good. I’ll probably max her but I’m not too excited about pulling her.

Its veryfast attack and defense debuff ( both also works in some sorts as dispell) and poison to all.

Hope you will find excitement for her soon enough, I think you would be missing out otherwise

I dunno, -15% is pretty negligible. she seems like the worst 5 star magic hero. That said, she isn’t a bad hero, just the worst of the bunch imo.

I understand, but based on her speed, she can go before Frigg/Morel, which makes her potent companion. Their defense debuff will overwritte with stronger def down while dealing more dmg.

Poison at veryfast to all also increases chances it wont get cleansed that fast, unlike slower heroes…

From how I see, Milena is clear cut above everyone while all 5* mages are already top tier heroes in every aspect.

In current form, she should get nerfed (hate to say it), but they should do a quick fix on her/ not release her like that (buffed from beta on release and was already strongest before buff).

I just got her via a few gem summons.
I would normally write something like: “I just got this beauty ______” but she(or he?) is beyond ugly, I’ll call her Uglyfena!
I’m not just mentioning the character design but also amateur art! I mean it would totally be cool if she looked like an old hag - you know like that mythic titan Baba Yaga. But it looks like an ugly man pretending to be a witch in a cheeky helloween costume. Very dissapointing for me…
I will definitely max if the card is worth but can’t bear to look at it.
I might even start a poll for a remake of the art

I’m pretty sure it’s a man in drag, but the card is great. I’d level that! LOL

She has thick lips like tarlak. Omg what if she’s actually tarlak in drag? :scream:

I’m amazed so little has been said of her.

She does seem a bit underwhelming …

Weak poison, attk and def down at first charge
2nd charge is similar to vivica but attck up instead of the important cleanse

I think def down at v fast is useful and difficult to balance as it can easily become too powerful

She is straight to the point.

I think her fist charge is amazing unlike others comments… You nerf enemy in three departments at very fast speed…

In case of buff tournament, this charge will be even more powerfull.

Second charge on offense is basically a win. Heroes to full hp and substantial dmg increase.

Finally finished her, with def>hp>atk path she have pretty tanky stats.

She is definetly worth tabards, both her charges are really strong.

First charge helps a lot when you have plenty tiles on board and you want finish enemy heroes faster. I’m pretty often in situations where enemy heroes are left with <100 health and full mana, poison combined with def down removed this problem.
Atk down is nice for surviving when few enemies are charged.

Second charge is crazy if you like HoT like me. I love how long buffs are, 6 turn is extremly rare except for S1 heroes.
She is even able to won 1vs3 with decent board and constant healing.

Has anyone tried her in def? Maybe as tank?

Exceptional tank…fast loading…a headache if you are not lucky enough to remove it fast.
I love it, I have it promoted without emblems … and I hope to use it in almost everything … for my single color

Seshat Bera Alfrike Kunchen killhare

I’ll see where I put it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I guess I’ll sacrifice Kunchen
