I just got Proteus and got him to 3/60 now I don’t know who a should take to last ascension him or Merlin as I only have 4 trap tools thanks in advance
Both of them are good but I would go to Proteus since he attacks 3…

Proteus for sure. As long as he survives to the boss round on hard map stages and you have some mana, you usually win. He is a beast for challenges, except Pirates bc of the purple reflect
Don’t get me wrong, Merlin is lots of fun, but not as game changing as Proteus
