Removing Milena & Arco from the conversation for a moment (I have both fully leveled and use them all the time). I also have a fully leveled Kara who I really like and used on my primary raid team before Rhys. Plus, I have most of the remaining SE heroes and need the space. This leaves me with Lewena or Quartz. I’ve read a lot about both but haven’t a seen debate on which to pick of the two (until now of course )
The case for Lewena: I thought Lewena would be the easy choice (unique special, hits decently hard as AoE, family bonus with my fully leveled Rayne & Quintin, situationally good on red mono teams).
The case for Quartz: Quartz entered the equation today as I raided against some teams with Hippo and 4 ninjas. Historically, I haven’t been a big fan of ninjas (my Cobalt has been at 3.70 forever). But then I pulled Ruby, Topaz and Peridot (I tried & failed to get the new ninjas). Adding Quartz & my fully leveled Hippo could give me a decent rainbow team with those 5. OTOH, I have read all of the comparisons between Quartz & c.Rigard (who I have but not leveled), which don’t seem to be favorable to Quartz.
What say you my fellow gamers? If I am to choose between Lewena or Quartz, who is the better, more versatile choice with the the greatest chance of longevity in an ever-changing meta?
Unless you really need Lewena for your def team, then she could be an option.
Quarz just isn´t an option. If you have a 5star hero compared to a 4star hero and are not sure who is better (even if he wins in the end…) you know you have a dud.
Maybe Hatter is another option, if you don´t have him yet
I assume you already have Grace, but she´s a steal at 10 if you don´t.
Thank you @Gargon. I do have a second Milena unleveled and am currently leveling Hatter. The only ones I don’t have from this SE are Alex, QoH, Alice, Quartz, Lewena.
Do you summon enough, so you have 20 souls every time? If not, I would vote for wait for next time.
If you summon a lot and have to get rid of heroes just to make space, then definitely Lewena, she is a good hero for sure. Then again if you summon that much… I don´t know you probably don´t need Lewena either.
At top level play, people will probably use 3 Milenas before the use a Lewena… well I wouldn´t know what they do, but from what I see on youtube videos, people definitely use multiple Milenas, while I can not remember seeing Lewena at all…
Thank you @Predatorhunter. I am excited to try her out with some different combos. Not a star on her own, but think she’ll be a nice complimentary piece.
Tip - It’s recommended to lvl up duplicate heroes if they are godly. This avoids bench heroes, saves $, and maximize the efficiency of your 6 war teams.
A lot of top players have duplicate teams, especially support heroes.
“Not having a hero” should never be the reason to exchange.
