Great idea. Gets my vote. My only worry is instead of going to Zynga executives the majority of the money would end up in the pockets of the charity executives but still a feel good thing to do

Currently reviewing the ā€˜Votesā€™ Iā€™ve given on the forum, and wanted to bump this one again. I also really like the added suggestion of charity avatars in game - this seems like it would be a fairly simple and straight forward starting point :nerd_face:

100% Love this Idea.!!! We are all too used to the glare of greed staring back at us through as many pop ups as there are possible charities to donate to that greet us every time we log into the game.

I think this would give the player base some hope for the future and a renewed support for the game we have all become so fond of over the years.

Just remembered: I think there was an event we all got the Squirrel avatar for a while back to raise awareness but I donā€™t think there was ever any mention of a charitable donation towards it :thinking:

Cā€™mon SG!! Put your MONEY WHERE YOU SAY YOUR :heart: IS!! Time to stop talking and Give Something Back!

Such a brilliant, thoughtful idea! E&P is #85 of the highest-grossing mobile games (List of highest-grossing mobile games - Wikipedia), itā€™s a very successful money-maker and surely some of that money can go to good causes.

In addition to your idea, I wonder if a % of the in-app purchases can go to charity.

I personally am not in favor of this. I believe strongly in donating to charity, but I prefer to pick organizations that are meaningful to me, not organizations that are meaningful to somebody else. In addition, I prefer to get the tax break for donations and not have SG get the tax break (the tax break goes to the person/organization writing the check, so SG).
