Actually I swapped in Maeve now that you mentioned it. I’m used to prefer Treevil everywhere but I guess it’s worth it to have Maeve because of the tournament type.
Haven’t posted on these in a while. I actually ended up in the top 10% in the last 4* tournament even though I only have like 6 fully leveled 4 stars lol! But anyways, I need some help with my lineup!
The current 1-1 is not bad, but based on my own attacking experience, Tree is simply too slow for the Buff Booster and my score will probably get worse over time…
Since I have a limited number of level 60 3*s (cGunnar, Shrubbear, Zarel, Joukahainen), this tournament will be a tough one to compete against fully level 60 defenses.
Opted to attack with 4-1 stack of just 1 healer + Kvasir since that’s the best way for me to kill double LB heroes. Faced 2 Treevil and 1 Bjorn tank today so the Yellow team (Kinsaishi - Kvasir - Edelaide - cTyrum - Jaco) was used the most. Board was good and could kill all 3 tanks before they could fire.
Also faced a Basil tank and the Blue team of Joukahainen - Kvasir - Nordri - Frosty - Chick Jr countered that easily enough.
Purple is my weakest colour but still went with Para - Kvasir - Maeve - Aqeela - Tyrum. Got the tiles to kill Poppy, but the Purple tiles stopped coming after that. Will probably try another healer other than Para tomorrow since he’s only level 50.
Go with my standard attack team in 3* buff booster Faiez + x2 Kvasir (C/CB) + x2 Slayer(Maeve/Noril) in all attack. For me, it is my best attack team in 3* buff booster for now.
Faiez : Heal/Cleanse/Ailment block
x2 Kvasir : Block buff/Block minion
x2 Slayer : Fire power
The only thing that this team don’t have is dispell. So, I think I might replace one Kvasir with Joukahainen against some heavy buff enemy team.
The board is average by overall. Win without losing any heroes.
I don’t even want to talk today… 2-3, already 3 losses.
It did the whole thing of:
Match 1: I take 2x Yellow 3x Red - it gives me a few of each. I don’t make any matches. I lose.
Match 2: Different tank so I switch my heroes for blue and yellow. Opening board has about 10+ reds no blues. I lose.
Match 3: repeat of match 2, except this time I switched back to red and it gave me lots of blues.
This fame really does troll you sometimes.
My defense is yet to be hit
Def is: Joukahainen-Li-Faez-Aqueela-Rekhetre at 3-1.
Offense: went with a red team in the beginning and was hella unlucky with tiles. No hero ever charged once(Lost 2 matches). Then swapped to a 3blue+2yellow team (2w-1l) Therefore 2-3 atm. Not my week i guess.
I have yet to LB2 a 3* but my first will be Felton. His reflect saved me late in the game in what seemed an impossible battle against a Basil tank today. I initially planned to stack more blue, but decided to stick with the same offense I ran the previous 4 attacks (same as my defense). I don’t normally play 2-1-1 but this team is performing well. Staying alive long enough to get me out of bad boards. It will likely change back to 3:2 or 4:1 as I face much tougher teams, but we will see what tomorrow brings.

(Top 1% for now, but will drop since my score isn’t as high as those racing the top teams.)
I only have 3x lvl 60 heroes (Buster, Shrubbear, Felton), so I was kind of surprised that every single defence I faced was full of LB2. Therefore 4-1 is a good result IMO.
Despite the itch to go mono against stronger opponents, I went with a different team on every attack but always had at least Shrubbear+Faiez. Every defence was very different, and there were no predictable meta teams with slayers and co. Still might need to rethink my strategy tomorrow and come up with a consistent attack team.
