I dont know how to set my team this time.
Im sure to use Grevle as tank. Hes my best bet with an atk boost and hp boost.

Melia is another fixed hero there. She provides an AOE and a buff boost too.

Bjorn is good to synergy with Melia and to prevent from a yellow stack.

From there im not so sure.

Do i need more firepower? Carver, another bjorn, bane?

Do i need more buffs? Gunnar, Brienne?

I will try -Melia-Brienne-Grevie-Mnesseus-Bjorn(or maybe Tyrum for dispel) .
I will definitely keep Mnesseus if Melia is sure, he gets a family bonus, dispel buff and no red allowed.

this could just about be the most annoying team anyone will deal with. win or lose, it will take forever.

I suck at 3* tournaments so I won’t over think it…

Alas, By-Ulf won’t be ready in time. Still at 2/14, and I don’t have a lot of feeders stocked up.

So going with this…
*Also thought about putting Kvasir in there, but I like Melia’s buff + family bonus with Mnesseus

comments welcome though!

I have 3 ideas for this tourney:

1st: heavy buff team - caveat: putting blue in might be risky.

2nd: green heavy team - less buffs, there’s dispeller and family bonus.

3rd: Inviting for a yellow stack that does not have many buffers. But there’s Kaliani, and no dispeller in my team.

Any thoughts?

Generally speaking, who is the better tank? Grevle or Shrubear? I’m will use both, just curious which one should become the tank?

My first setup:

Grevle is tanky, good (over)heal and a buff. Belith for heal, buffs and protection. Mnessus for dispell, bjorn for damage and melia is fast, critbuff, damage and family bonus with mnessus.

Plenty of other options:

I would choose Grevle or Brienne…not both on the same team as their buffs overwrite each other.

Think I will go #1 . Have all green 3* maxed but don’t have Shrubby.

@sleepyhead @BubblesUK

€dit: last time used same heroes but Carver as tank ended up C

Replace Carver by Berden©, Hisan, CarverC ?

Thinking this…?

Lots of buffs, Dispell protection via Belith costume. Couple healers… :man_shrugging:

In my opinion it should be like this (IMO)

Leaning towards something similar to this. Blue might be too much of a risk, even on the wing due to the likelihood of green stacks and the amount of good choices for a buff boost tournament that green has at 3*. My only concern with this team is it’s a non aggressive center, which might allow enemies too much time to play the board.

Briene + cb is out due to the overlap with Grevie for buff, though c.Briene could be an option?
I also debated c.Belith over c.Friar and choose Belith for her debuff counter.
Balthazar + cb on the wing for damage. He gets the nod over Bjorn due to speed on the wing position and over Tyrum to try and squeeze out as much damage as possible.
Melia for her buff and Mnessous for his debuff and damage. Their family bonus is an added extra.

Same q as everyone else, these are my 3 setup (power leveling the non maxed ones ATM)

Whilst I think Shrub is the better individual tank, for this tournament I think Grevie is the better choice simply because his buffs are to all so your whole team benefits from the buff booster bonus whilst Shrub only applies buffs to himself.

May be fun

Opted for this in the end:

There are 2 buffers, but both increase attack on their own. I think a dispeller should be there as well, and I guess there’s enough dmg for attacker to be under pressure.
