Log & Guide to Raid Tournaments

Used my attacks early today and went 4-1. Switched between 3 Yellow and 3 Purple teams in attack.
Yellow team is Caedmon/cCaedmon - Anastasia - c2Li Xiu - Waddles - c2Rigard and beat 2 c2Cyprian tanks today with that team.
Purple team is Caedmon/cCaedmon - Arges - Ametrine - Waddles - c2Rigard. Neither teams have a lot of buffs on them, but boards were good today. Might start using my other Styx and Magic heroes tomorrow.
Single loss came against a pretty innocuous Mack tank flanked by cCaedmon and Wu Kong. Attacked with the Purple team. Mack revived multiple times, and I was so focused on killing him that I forgot how much buffed up Wu Kong powered slashes hurt. By the time I noticed the 500 hp hits, my heroes were mostly dead.
4-1 again on Day 2. Tested using Steropes today. He’s only level 70 but all his charges give at least a buff, and the first charge regen boost proved helpful at 6 tile speed.
Went with 3 Purple or 3 Red (Sun - Cillian - cKelile) today with Steropes replacing Waddles since there were no c2Cyprians. Wins weren’t clean, but got through fine until the last fight.
Facing a c2Li Xiu tank flanked by c2Rigard and Colen, didn’t have trouble with the tank, but the Purple tiles dried up after killing her, and just couldn’t cleanse Colen’s fire. By the time the wing cGullin charged was only left with Steropes who doesn’t revive. Maybe I should try Anton tomorrow.
Defense was 15 minutes from an A, but a loss just before the tournament day ended dropped it to B (3-3). Another loss today and it’s down to C.
Survived Bloody Wednesday with another 4-1 day. Used the same attack of Steropes - Caedmon - c2Li Xiu - Waddles - c2Rigard all 5 matches. Boards were generally good except for the one loss.
Faced a c2Caedmon tank flanked by Junaid and Zhou Yu. Probably should have switched to a Red stack, but had won 3 in a row by then and kept with the same Yellow stack. Steropes only managed to charge once as did c2Rigard. Lots of Red tiles and bad zero loss.
Defense remains at C (5-6) and outside top 1% at the moment.
With 3 losses already, was feeling adventurous today and so went with a 4P-1Y stack of Steropes - Sergei - Arges - Ametrine - c2Rigard. Risky tactic with only 2 damage dealers, but boards were so laughingly good that just blew through all 5 defenses faced today regardless of who were in them.
Sadly, defense is not as lucky and is now down to 7-13 (D). Offense will determine whether I have a shot to remain in top 1% tomorrow.
24/1 this time. Lost one just before the very end that literally hurt my guts! Since that happened against an unorthodox tank, Caedmon. That’s been a huuuge lesson for me now. I was craving for that fifth badge so much!

Today upgrade Anabele to LB2LV75 and change Basil to Felton and sucessfully get 5 wins so satisfied

The good boards from yesterday lasted just one more match today. Faced a c2BT in match number 2 with c2Caedmon and c2Cyprian flanks. Continued attacking with 4 Purples and just no tiles until way too late. Loss number 4 and bought back in to fill the raid chest.
Bad idea with back-to-back losses to Ferant tanks including a zero. Was partially bad team formation in not bringing c2Melendor, and also c2Li Xiu not jinxing.
Won the last to finish 19-6 and at least confirm top 5% despite a 8-13 D-fense.
A bad last day spoiled a nice tournament before that. Maybe could’ve finished top 1% despite the so-so defense. Been lucky with Alpha Aethers recently so will start giving LB2 to some of the S1 double costumes for future tournaments.
Out of top 10 defenses 9 have c2 Cyprian on tank, only one Ferant. What is the deal? Did he became a beast after costume bonus buff? After this results I’m seriously thinking of 2LB him.
He is the best 4* tank in buff booster and bloody battle for now. When you fight against C2 Cyprian, you need minion-killer and dispeller. If you put x2 C2 Li Xiu flank, the attacker will need all minion-killer, dispeller and cleanser to fight against.
I’m proud to be the only top10 with Ferant. I think his mana-cut is more effective, you can use Cyprian as a tile dump while building up your specials as he won’t do anything to you (apart from giving attack boost to the flanks which is not to be underestimated). Also I have no idea how LB2 changes things, as you can see I don’t have 4*-s above 75.
